Before you look for more leads, look at your offer.

A clearer offer is a useful place to start before you increase your advertising budget.

When sales slow down, the first instinct is often to seek more attention. But more attention helps most when the offer underneath it is clear.

Start with the customer. What specific problem are they trying to solve? What are they buying from you, and what would make them trust that it fits their situation?

Then examine the message. If a potential buyer cannot quickly explain what you provide, who it is for and why it matters, the offer may need more work before the advertising budget increases.

Try this: write your offer in one sentence. Ask someone in your intended audience to explain it back. Use the gaps in their explanation to improve yours.
